No Baby Yet

Well, another day down. Emily's due date is coming in the next few days, and I thought I should give an update on how she is. We're anxious for the baby's arrival. I fell a bit bad because I am missing training over the next few weeks in order to be here for the baby's birth. My commander was gracious in allowing me to stay here for the birth.

Emily is still teaching. She actually found out this week that she's being switched to another school. This one is actually closer to our house, but it means her first day teaching at the new school is also the day she is due to deliver. She's working all of that out. Her belly is freaking huge. She hasn't gained weight all over, just in the stomach. I have no idea how she stands without falling face first on the ground. I would post a picture, but I actually don't have one on my computer.

You are one brave man. Or you just do not know any better. Women with child can be very powerful when angry. Just think of the balance they have alone. Any way. Glad to hear you get to stay for the birth. Do not feel bad, it is a good thing. We can not wait to see pics of the baby. You are in our prayers.

only you would be brave enough to say that about Em. Take a pic so we can see if you are right. I have been praying for you and Em. I am VERY glad you are going to be there to bring Isaac in this world. When you first see him all the feeling bad will go away. Can't wait to get the word he is here.

When I was there, I thought the same thing; "how does she stand up without falling face first". Is her old room cleaned out? Is her new room set up? Where is the new school? What about daycare? I've been praying about it all. Dwayne said he saw you on our local PBS television station. There was a special on army chaplins and it was showing Fort Jackson,SC. He said he thought it was you because your ears were sticking out from under the cap you were wearing. Was it really you? Can you answer my questions by e-mail or just give me a call? Love, Momma (TN)
